Bellingen Family Medical Centre is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to our community. Kelly Hamill

Kelly Hamill

Kelly grew up in Bellingen, returning in 2009 after her studies. She is a general practitioner and GP obstetrician with special interests in obstetrics, women’s health including menopause, infant care and breastfeeding, paediatrics, sexual health, and gender issues including trans health, men’s health, chronic pain and chronic disease management and rare disorders like PKU (phenylketonuria). She is a continuing prescriber for ADHD. Kelly will never comment on your weight unless you raise it first. She is happy to help with weight loss if medically appropriate.

Brydie Ksiazek

Dr Brydie Ksiazek is an experienced GP who lives locally with her young family. She obtained her medical degree from of the University of New South Wales, studying, training and working in the Coffs region for most of this time. Brydie also works in emergency at Bellingen Hospital and does remote work near Alice Springs. She has a special interest in all aspects of general practice including women’s and children’s health, breastfeeding, chronic conditions and emergency medicine.

Allan graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2021 and has worked across General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Infectious Diseases. He has a strong interest in sports injuries, musculoskeletal health, and chronic disease management. Allan values a practical, patient-centred approach and enjoys helping people return to optimal function through evidence-based care and thoughtful long-term planning. Allan enjoys nature and playing piano in his free time. Allan is available for appointments Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Dr Clara Morcos is a GP Registrar at Bellingen Family Medical Centre with special interests in geriatrics, mental health and emergency medicine. Clara completed her hospital training with Monash Health in Melbourne, where she gained broad experience across acute medicine, emergency care and mental health services. She is committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate and patient-centred care for people at all stages of life.

I grew up in the UK, came to Australia aged 18 . Trained as a registered nurse and midwife. Then completed my Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle in 1994. Obtained my FRACGP in 2002 and Grad Certificate in Psychiatry (University of Cardiff) in 2015. Other special interests : Family Medicine ,Preventitive Medicine, Travel Medicine Diabetes , Urgent Care.

Dr Hamzah (He/Him) is a GP Trainee who graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2021. His interests include Mental Health, Sports Medicine, Emergency, Acute Medicine and Paediatrics. He is an advocate for integrative healthcare and holistic well being with a background as a passionate Musician, Dancer and Personal Trainer. Hamzah is excited to be immersed in the Bellingen Community with a curiosity to be involved in the local art scene whilst serving as a GP Trainee in the area.

Kelly and Jay also run Platypus Foods as a non profit company which manufactures and sells low protein medical food for people with Phenylketonuria (PKU) and other metabolic disorders.
